On the occasion of Austrian presiding the European Counsil, the Espace Européen pour la Sculpture organizes an exhibition of three Austrian artists: Markus Hofer, Brigitte Kowanz, and Lois Weinberger. The show is under the patronage of Dr. Elisabeth Kornfeld, Austrian Ambassador in Belgium. In a tour of Tournay-Solvay park, the works on view challenge us on the relation between nature and art.

The Espace Européen pour la Sculpture was founded on September 4, 1989 on the initiative of Simon du Chastel. It aims to raise awareness in Brussels, the heart of Europe, of visual artists from the various Member States of the European Union, by annually proposing to an artist of the country chairing the Council to invest the Regional Park Tournay-Solvay.
