*Juli Zeh: Adler und Engel. Frankfurt am Main (9) 2003, S. 298
Opening: Thursday, March 13, 2014

Exhibition until May 31, 2014

The group exhibition curated by Jörg van den Berg continues Häusler Contemporary’s »Loveparade« series of guest-curated exhibitions with works by
Heike Kati Barath | Richard Allen Morris | David Reed | Michael Venezia | Reto Boller | Myriam Holme | Platino | Tilo Schulz.

The works of these eight artists each represent a specific approach of colour, one of the »primal« elements of art. The exhibition weaves a tight net of formal connections that allows the various works to address a wide variety of subjects. Is colour tangible? Or isn’t colour precisely something that can only be seen? How does our perception shift when instead of a »red tomato«, we speak of a »tomato red«? The question itself is confusing. And while suspending our faith in the objectual world doesn’t necessarily allow us to taste colour, it immediately opens up an unconventional, open-ended perspective.
