The artists and artist collectives devoted themselves intensively to the public exhibition space, the bridges and the paths on the Oker border. The results show a formal range in which performative, participative, cinematic, sculptural, text-based works react to concrete places. In doing so, these works not only deploy their effect at dusk and night, but they also develop an aesthetic power during the day. Despite the variance in form and content, different dialogues emerge between the individual works across the urban space, stretching a poetic, communicative network across the city. In the exhibition, the various ideas are presented in the form of models, sketches and already existing works that illustrate the final design.

The 16 artists were invited by a jury comprising Stefan Gronert (Sprengel Museum Hannover), Dr. Ing. Jule Hillgärtner (Kunstverein Braunschweig), Karola Kraus (Mumok Vienna), Roland Nachtigäller (MARTa Herford), Vanessa Ohlraun (HBK Braunschweig), dr. Susanne Pfleger (Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg) and Dr. Anja Hesse (city of Brunswick).
