Hamish Fulton (b. 1946) describes himself as a "Walking Artist." His work is defined by the conscious experience of nature, which he has been exploring since the late 1960s through precisely executed walks on every continent. The concept of the "walk" serves as both the title and content of his works, which are created during and after these walks through various artistic techniques. Hamish Fulton's works are held in significant international collections, including the Tate Gallery in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
