We are very pleased to give some insight into James Turrell's just opened «Skyspace Ta Khut», the first free-standing Skyspace in South America, which was realized in close collaboration with Häusler Contemporary.

Based on the artist's concept, the Skyspace is a freestanding structure, impressively placed in close proximity to the beach. The work was commissioned by the Kofler family, who have created a wonderful vacation residence with their Posada Ayana, on whose premises James Turrell's Skyspace was erected. 

After an intensive planning and construction phase, the artwork was opened by James Turrell on November 20, 2021 and has been open to visitors since then. For more information about the project and its execution, please contact us or find here more information about «Ta Khut» and the Posada Ayana.
